This shows the dangers of selective quotation. “My sympathy is with the Jews” is often cited by Zionists as proof of Gandhi’s solidarity. They, of course, leave off the next sentence. The brutality and racism of the British, and Churchill, are well known, yet Gandhi prevailed. I would like to know how historians assess the failure of passive resistance against the IDF, most notably the March of Return in 2018. What would Gandhi have done? Is passive resistance futile against an enemy with no conscience?
I don't think that Palestinian nonviolent resistance, as in other cases of nonviolent resistance, is directed to appeal to the conscience of their oppressors per se, as much as it is an appeal to the "wider audience." Especially in a time of world interconnectedness, I believe this to be the case, and where hope may be found. Thus the two are interlinked, and failure of one shows failure of the other; for in a world where people's conscience is dead, nonviolent action would be fruitless and futile indeed.
Yet MK Gandhi never abolished Hindu slavery, oppps the Hindu Caste apartheid. Remember B.R. Ambedkar? Then, what crack business did he have to do with any real liberation, be it Indian or Arab. Like get gone with this MK Gandhi resurrection please.
The unspeakable and unimaginable become everyday matzo ball Jewish approved and rabbi sanctioned sickness. Perversion. Poison from this white supremacist cult.
On Tuesday night, in the Qarara area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, brothers Muhammad and Ibrahim Hamidi decided to take their children and flee to a less dangerous location east of the city. The sound of heavy gunfire from tanks stationed near their home after a brutal night of nonstop shelling and bombardment pushed them to head toward the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, the same coastal stretch of land that had served as a so-called “safe zone” throughout the war.
The brothers arrived and set up their tents. In the middle of the night, Muhammad heard the sound of bombing. He emerged from his tent, hundreds of meters away from his brother Ibrahim’s. He was rushing toward the sound of the bombs to help people who had been hit — a common sight in Gaza — but he didn’t expect that the bombed tent would belong to his brother.
“I ran out, thinking the bombing might have targeted a family we know. When I arrived, I found my brother lying on the ground, covered in blood, and his wife holding their child, both of them on fire,” Muhammad Hamidi told Mondoweiss. “My nephew was lying on the ground, injured in his head and back, and looking at his mother. She was engulfed in flames with his younger baby brother. Then my nephew turned his head toward his father, who was bleeding after the missile struck his head.”
With deep sadness, Muhammad says that in his final moments, his three-year-old nephew watched his mother and brother burn. “The child was helpless,” he said.
More exactly, “Palestine belongs to the Palestinians”. Some are Arabs, many are not. Some might even be Jews, as long as they agree to live peaceably with their neighbours.
When I find someone with Indian origins who has the kind of thinking I feel comforted by I just want to be there, and so have subscribed to read. The world, Palestine, Europe and the US, India, is awful to be in now. We have some good thinkers. I wish more Indians knew them.
The Left in India specifically CPI M and its rank and file had never approved Gandhi except his stubborn fight against majority fundamentalism..because they have a biased opinion on him and his objectives. A selective amnesia on him ...

He said this too.
He had no sympathy to Hindus or Sikhs.
Should we follow this also?

Yes I read this horrific description of a brothers horrific ordeal.
